The Cavern is a naturalist’s paradise set in the Drakensberg foothills. The mature rambling garden alone boasts nearly 100 species of birds. Much of its charm lies in its use of indigenous plants, and in the way informal corners are allowed to regenerate naturally. The garden has no boundary, just melting into the surrounding Cavern nature reserve which visitors can explore at will. Join Sally & David Johnson for an informative birding presentation. The Challenge consists
of each competitor trying to complete the most number of laps
in 1 minute, while racing a fellow competitor. The top 12 competitors
who have set up the greatest number of laps during the Preliminary
rounds will proceed to the Eliminator round, and the fastest
4 will then proceed to the Grand Finale until we arrive at the
winner.
